Behind every piano we sell is a restoration that takes place in our 25,000 square foot facility in Pine Brook, New Jersey. This is not a showroom with a back room. It is a full-scale restoration atelier, one of the largest of its kind in the world, where every Steinway we touch is completely disassembled, rebuilt, and refined by hand.
Our 25 craftsmen include former Steinway factory technicians, master refinishers, and concert-level voicing specialists. Every instrument leaves this building performing at concert-hall level and looking like a work of art. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every single piano, regardless of the room it is going into.
