Buying a piano from Lindeblad Pianos is an experience that takes you back to a time where craftsmanship and customer relationships really matter . The showroom is extraordinary! The space is impressive and huge , brimming with beautiful pianos . We were invited to play each one , for as long as we wanted , until we found “ our” piano . Our Yamaha upright was delivered a few days later , at no additional charge . After the piano arrived, we were contacted by the piano tuner , who told us to let the piano settle in it’s new environment , and made a complimentary appointment to tune the piano in its new home . The piano tuner , a true craftsman, meticulously tuned the piano , even coming out again at no charge , to make sure it sounded perfect. Months after we bought the piano , the adjustable bench developed a squeak , and Lindeblad immediately delivered another bench to swap out . We love our Yamaha upright , and when we are ready for a new piano , possibly a baby Grand , the cost of this piano will be credited to our future piano ! Buying this piano has been an amazing experience Lindeblad is a multi generational family business and their personal care , and attention to detail makes us happily feel like we are forever part of their family!

My piano has been in the family for nearly 100 years - purchased by my grandfather as an anniversary present for my grandmother in the 1920's. It was clearly showing its age. I considered having Steinway restore it, but then discovered Lindeblad. Working with Todd was a pleasure, as he offered me flexibility and options to restore what I wanted, and how I wanted it done. We recently purchased a restored 1902 Mason & Hamlin piano from Todd at Lindeblad. The whole experience was great. We happen to live 45 minutes from the showroom, so we were lucky to have the opportunity to try out about dozen gorgeous pianos. Todd was kind enough to take to his restoration facility as well, where we tried out a bunch more. He was very patient with us, answered all our questions, and once we decided, he addressed the very minor issues the piano had before delivery. We've had the piano about a month now and are very pleased with our purchase and with the attention we got from Todd. Highly recommended if you are looking for a beautiful instrument.
I have bought and sold several pianos in my lifetime and Lindeblad is by far the most professional and customer-centric outfit I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. I recently purchased a Ritmüller grand from Todd who could not have been more helpful and responsive throughout the purchasing process. After a year long study and investigation on vintage piano's, we were thrilled to purchase our Mason & Hamlin BB piano from Lindeblad Piano. This piano has been more than just a beautiful addition to our home. It has been the fulfillment of my childhood longings and the inspiration for renovations that were long overdue in our home. Our journey to finding this piano began as I was poised to retire. I am not an experienced pianist, but have always wished that I could play the piano out of my fascination and appreciation for the beauty of music. When we bought our first house, we were fortunate to acquire an older baby grand that our daughters used to take piano lessons. When we built a house a few years later, we decide to upgrade to a refinished baby grand. It was a nice upgrade but the keyboard always felt a bit weak. As I was approaching retirement I knew that I wanted a serious piano to get serious about finally learning to play, in particular I wanted a piano worthy of Debussey’s Clair de Lune. In my research for professional experts in vintage piano restoration I came across Lindeblad Piano Pine Brook, New Jersey and decided to travel from central Illinois out to to see what they had to offer. Not everyone has the opportunity to go out to their facility, but we believed it would be an important step for us in making this investment. Our experience of working with Lindeblad--visiting their restoration facility and meeting their very seasoned team--was superior from the start. Their customer service, their knowledgeability, their craftsmanship were all apparent from the get-go. My Boston grand piano was delivered yesterday by Lindeblad's excellent delivery guys and I couldn't be happier! It's beautiful, in such wonderful condition and sounds gorgeous.
